Vortex Athletics was founded by a group of passionate, high-level athletes and coaches with a shared goal: helping the next generation thrive through movement. After years of competing and coaching at a high level, they saw the gap between what developing kids need and what many schools have the capacity to provide. That's where Vortex was born — a solution that brings high-quality foundational athletic development into school settings in a way that's fun, accessible, and easy to run.

We understand the challenges schools face in delivering structured, high-quality sports programs. That's why we've designed Vortex Athletics to be simple to implement, with minimal impact on staff workload. We provide experienced coaches, bring all necessary equipment, and handle the administration to ensure sessions run smoothly, efficiently, and with maximum value for your students.

At Vortex Athletics, our coaches are more than just instructors — they're mentors, role models, and passionate athletes dedicated to helping kids move, grow, and thrive. Our team includes nationally recognised athletes and qualified professionals, all united by one goal: delivering high-quality, engaging programs that bring out the best in every pupil.

Safety & compliance

We are committed to delivering professional, safe, and fully compliant programs.

  • Comprehensive public liability and professional indemnity insurance covering all coaches and sessions.
  • All coaches hold valid Blue Cards and are experienced athletes or studying in fields such as teaching, sports science, exercise physiology, or physiotherapy.
  • Thorough risk assessments at every school location before a program starts, with all sessions age-appropriate and scaled to each student’s level.
  • Full compliance with child safety and privacy regulations — student information is handled securely and responsibly.
  • If a session is cancelled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, parents are notified directly and a make-up session arranged where possible.
